The ITU’s premier event, Telecom World 2013, is being staged in Bangkok from November 19 to 22. It will attract the global ICT community to network, debate, showcase innovation and share knowledge at the highest level. Of special interest will be a program of interactive debate focused on "Embracing Change in a Digital World.”

Telcoprofessionals writer and TM Forum market strategist, Tony Poulos, will be moderating one particularly interesting and topical panel discussion titled “Back to the Future: what the Digital Back-Office Must Deliver.”

A series of panel discussions, workshops and roundtables will focus on five central topics: changes in the way people communicate with each other, the need for new business models in a data-centric era, shifting industry dynamics, changes in technology and the need for new regulatory and standardization approaches.

In addition, national and thematic pavilions and industry stands showcase products, technologies, investment opportunities and projects from around the world on the show floor.

Networking events, occasions and spaces running throughout the event facilitate connections and conversations between private sector and government, and between individuals and ideas - connections that are central to developing creative and innovative solutions, policies, business models and partnerships.

ITU Telecom World 2013 is an incomparable platform to drive forward the ICT industry and the enormous socio-economic benefits offered by new technologies and the TM Forum is proud to be involved.
